The quaint Old Town of Piran, Slovenia is my favorite and is also an extremely popular destination for local Slovenians and vacationing Italians during the warm summer months. Piran is a vibrant town with colorful Venetian architecture, a bustling harbor, delicious seafood and panoramic viewpoints.

Piran is a relatively small medieval town on the coast of Slovenia. It has a vibrant town centre, great sea food, a maze of beautiful narrow streets with colourful old houses and is packed with culture and history. The old town is quite small and best explored on foot.
